Joanna Delfunt
Joanna Delfunt attended Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia and graduated in May of 2011. While in law school, she had the unique opportunity of interning in Cambodia with an organization that provided aftercare services to female sex trafficking victims. Through that internship, she realized that she wanted her career to be focused on providing legal relief to those who had been trafficked. Many trafficking victims are brought to the United States from other countries, and once rescued, are in need of legal immigration services.
Joanna began practicing immigration law in Georgia. Earlier in her career, she worked for two larger law firms – one focused primarily on immigration and one on workers’ compensation/personal injury that wanted to start an immigration department. After a few years, Joanna decided to begin her own immigration firm in Cumming, Georgia, specifically so she could be closer to home for her children. Joanna’s passion for immigration law has grown over the years. Her practice is focused on representation of clients in removal proceedings before the Atlanta Immigration Courts and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). She also represents her clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) with family-based petitions, green card applications, Naturalization applications, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) requests, and other affirmative filings.
Her goal is to bring hope and clarity to immigrant families through some of the most difficult and stressful periods of their lives.
Brandon Delfunt
Whether you have been injured or are facing criminal charges, this may be one of the most challenging times of your life. For many people just like you, the legal system is confusing, and you may feel lost. Let me help you navigate whatever you are going through. I have over twelve years of experience in criminal law and am committed to providing excellent representation for my clients. For the last twelve years I served as a prosecutor for both Cherokee and Gwinnett Counties and have tried nearly eighty felony criminal jury trials. As a prosecutor I handled some of the most serious cases involving homicides, complex gang cases, racketeering (RICO) and wiretaps and closed my prosecution career as the Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney for Gwinnett County where I supervised numerous trial divisions including the Drug and Gang Task Force. It is that experience that makes me ready to help you with your criminal or personal injury case.
I graduated from Regent University in 2011 where I met my wife (and law partner), Joanna. We attend church at Free Chapel and believe in the power of prayer in whatever situation you are facing. To us you are not just a client but a person who we want to partner with and help. We care about our clients and are committed to helping you through whatever you are facing.
